“What We Are Thankful For, And Why” was hand-set in Victor Hammer’s American Uncial and Garamond typefaces, and printed on a 1920 Chandler & Price press. For this second printing, three hundred copies were printed on Somerset Book paper, and signed by the author.
Gray Zeitz is a poet, master printer and proprietor of Larkspur Press, Monterey, Kentucky. He received the 2012 KY Governor’s Arts Award for lifetime achievement. Larkspur Press has been featured on NPR’s “All Things Considered” and “CBS Sunday Morning”.
The illustration is a wood engraving by Wesley W. Bates. Wes has extensive publication credits as a book illustrator, and his fine art work has been widely exhibited in Canada, England and the U.S.
