Description
“The Other Wish” was hand-set in Garamond Old Style and Emerson typefaces, and then printed on a hand-fed 1920 Chandler & Price printing press. Thirty copies were printed on Magnani Incisioni paper and signed by the author.
Ada Limón is the author of several collections of poetry. Her fourth book, Bright Dead Things, was shortlisted for the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Poetry Daily, The New Yorker, and elsewhere.
The moon wood engraving is by Wesley Bates. Wes has been a wood engraver since 1980. He has extensive publication credits as a book illustrator and his fine art work has been widely exhibited in Canada, England and the United States. He lives in Clifford, Ontario.
